A friend from my parish allowed me to use her photo of a church she visited in Corey, Ohio. It's the Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Consolation. I find this shrine breathtaking! I admire Lisa for her talents; she's an artist, singer, musician, teacher and not least of all, a great Catholic wife and mother! Thank you, Lisa, for allowing me to share this exquisite shrine with others. more lovely Mornings with Mary here |

Our Lady of Consolation. I like that name very much and she is beautiful--and there she is, right in the heartland of America. Thank you for sharing her.
ReplyDeleteWow Nonnie. This is a breathtaking shrine. I enlarged it to see it better. I can imagine it is even more beautiful in person. Thanks for sharing.

What a compelling shrine of Mary - I have never seen one like it!
ReplyDeleteThe lovely picture at the top of your blog fills me with peace. The simple statue surrounded by the beautiful flowers speaks with such grace and gentleness.
