  3. dearest,

outside of haiku my heart, i have taken a year off from social media to practice silence, to take time to look deeply within. suddenly it is october and i feel myself resurfacing. what better way to return to the world of blogging then to share the art of remembering. i hope you will join me in this deeply meaning time of acknowledging our loved ones. xo

    1. Rebecca, I must have a big block in me because time and time again I have failed to be silent (on purpose) whenever I've tried it. If you have any hints that I could practice, I'd appreciate it. I appreciate your taking the time to spend with me.

    2. nonnie i can only share that i internally ask myself "what is for the highest and best good for all in this moment." even in situations that are hurtful to me personally, i seek to come from this place. there is great peace in using this as the guide post for thoughts, words and actions. there is a lot of letting go at first. letting go of pride, letting go of defending oneself in a misunderstanding. over time the peace that comes each time one honors the highest and best good is far sweeter and greater than any word, deed or action to the contrary. i love walking through life with this perspective. all the little things in a person fall away and one is enveloped in the greater good, the heart of the heart of peace, all encompassing love. xo

  4. dearest nonnie,
once again i visited and left comments three times. finally one stuck and it was not even the one honoring your haiku! what i had hoped to share is that i have just returned from san miguel where across the country side were huge lovely swaths of morning glories and cosmos! how wonderful to come home and see that cosmos have been smiling in your yard too. thank you for your reassuring mention of spring. how perfect that this awakening season follows winter.
