Mornings with Mary

This lovely statue was my mother's.
It was a gift from her sister-in-law,
it's a Hummel figurine.  Sometime or another
Mary's hand was broken off, probably by a cat
because my parents always had one
after they bought their home.
I, in turn, gave it to my daughter because
she cherishes the fact that it belonged to her grandmother.

  1. She is pretty, isn't she?
I have never seen the Mary Hummel,
    so thank you for sharing.
I also love you header picture, Norma,
what a beautiful shrine for your porch.
And that pot of blue flowers...
they are, like forget-me-nots, but the leaves are
different. They came up this spring in my
flower beds, but I don't know the name.
This is our first spring in this house
and it is so exciting to see what bulbs and
    perrenials come up. ♥♥

    1. Lisa, the envelope said Forget-me-nots on it. Perhaps different ones grow wherever you live?
