Blessed Mary reclines in humble estate with her divine babe Jesus Christ lending magnitude to the circumstance of Motherhood. I was elated with Mary's unusual position! |
at the entrance of the National Shrine Grotto of Lourdes Heading back to Indiana through Maryland, from Atlantic City, my husband read aloud the sign about the National Shrine Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. Being the thoughtful man he was, he asked if I'd like to visit there. What a blessing it was to visit it. I will post other photos of the wondrous and sights we were graced to see in future posts. |

DeleteSuch beautiful art! My favorite Mary is the gold statue of her in Avignon, France where my husband and I honeymooned last September. Glorious. I love writing about her. Your photo at the top of your blog is awesome!
ReplyDeleteoh, what a heavenly place for a honeymoon! when in high school French class, we learned the song "Sur le Pont d'Avignon." the tune is playing right now in my head!
ReplyDeletethank you for the kind words about my header; it is of my deck in the summer of 2012.
What a great find on your road trip. I just love how these special places draw us even if we never knew they were there. Thanks.
